Both our woven and knit fabrics are selected on the basis of their strength, durability, softness, wickability, thermal regulation, combustion, and last but not least, appearance.
The primary differences between the two fabrics relate to surface softness and appearance. Woven fabrics achieve a firmer, more stable sleep surface, while knits are generally used in mattresses that are designed for a softer, more luxurious experience.
Both fabric selections have met the OMI high standard for look, feel, and performance. Both fabrics are also made from third-party certified organic cotton yarns, and carry the same 20-year warranty.
The knit fabric option is available on the Terra, Lago, Flora, and Midori mattresses. The woven fabric is available on all mattresses.
