Remove rust or paint by sandblasting, power brushing or hand wire brushing before primer is applied. Sanding metal surfaces will help increase bond strength of the primer and topcoats. Spray application is recommended. Changes in pressures and tip sizes may be necessary for proper spray characteristics. Always purge spray equipment before use. Manual application may be applied by brush or 3/8” nap roller. Apply material at approximately 4.0 wet mils. Allow a minimum of 1 hour dry time and not to exceed 48 hours prior to application of your topcoat material. If maximum recoat time is exceeded, sand the surface before recoating. Clean up with soap and water.
