Drip tubing and micro tubing:
DIG polytube comes in different parts of your system. It is extruded from the highest quality resin available. DIF polytube is manufactured of low density polyethylene to meet every demand of a low volume irrigation project, from agricultural installations to backyard gardens. DIG polyethylene is resistant to cracking, heat, ultraviolet stress and chemicals. ¼” microtube is made of high grade vinyl or polyethylene (vinyl is soft and the poly is hard) and is used for extending drippers and micro sprinklers from the main line to the primary line in small systems. Our 1/8” microtube is used extensively with the Maverick 12-outlet drip head.
Drip irrigation use polyethylene tubing as the main water delivery to the drippers and micro sprinklers, which is the line that is used from the valve to the plants or from the main line to the plants. There are many nominal sizes of drip tubing that are used for drip irrigation.
