Drip fittings are used to connect polytube and microtube. DIG offers a wide range of drip fittings, from compression fittings, Spin Loc fittings, drip tape fittings and barbed fittings. The tubing is “walked” into the compression fittings for a very tight fit. No clamps or glue are required. Compression, Spin Loc and barbed fittings are used to connect 1/2" or 3/4" poly tubing. The 1/2" barb fittings are available in varies configuration and are used with 1/2" poly tubing. The poly tube is pushed over the barb to insure a leak-proof fit. The Spin Loc has a sleeve that goes over the tubing and provides the option to be used again. Make sure the fittings are the exact size for the 1/2" poly tubing used. 1/4" barb fittings are available as straight connectors, elbows, tees and cross to connect to the 1/2" poly tubing or to the 1/4" micro tube. The micro tube is pushed over the barb to insure a leak-proof fit. Drip and soaker hose fittings are used with our drip and soaker tape. They are different in design from those fittings used with ½” polytube in that they work with a twisting lock device rather than with compression.
