Clear Comfort Algaecide provides pool owners with a quick and easy solution to algae buildup, which discolors water, clogs up filters and makes your pool look horrible. Algaecide's concentrated liquid formula powers into the tiniest cracks, seams and crevices, algae's favorite hiding spots, to eliminate all forms of algae. This treatment will not evaporate or breakdown because of sun exposure, and actually becomes more active as pool water temperature rises, providing worry-free application.
Dosage:
Initial Application: 32 oz. per 25,000 gallons.
Routine Maintenace: 1 oz. per 5,000 gallons per week, 2 oz. per 5,000 gallons every other week.
Following heavy rain showers, add an additional 1 oz. per 5,000 gallons
Product Use
Use this product on a regular maintenance schedule to prevent algae in your biguanide pools.
Directions
Ensure all pool equipment is working properly. Backwash the filter system following manufacturers directions. Adjust pH to between 7.2-7.6 . Check for metals and if present add a stain and scale inhibitor to prevent staining of pool surface due to metals. When using other products as outlined in directions for this product, always follow directions on products. Wait at least 15 minutes after application before entering pool.
For an Initial Application or When Pool Water is Changed: Pour 32 oz. directly into pool per 25,000 gallons of water.
Routine Maintenance: For weekly application intervals, use 1 oz per 5,000 gallons of water (.5 ppm).
For 2 week application intervals, use 2 oz. per 5,000 gallons of water (1 ppm) every other week.
