1/2" Barbed Fittings
These 1/2" barbed fittings are for use with any poly tubing with an inside diameter of .600" and an outside diameter of .700". Barbed fittings are our least expensive 1/2" tubing fittings. They are economical and single use only. Generally, barbed fittings cannot be reused. Once a barbed fitting has been inserted into the tube it is very difficult to get it out without damaging the fitting. Since barbed fittings are inserted inside the tubing and the tubing stretches around the barb to secure itself, after a few years it is not uncommon for the tubing around the barb to form small cracks and need to be trimmed, this is normal.
